When this semester’s interns arrived at LM, they were handed a copy of What the Heck is EOS?, the same book that was read by the staff. In addition to reading the book, each intern was to outline one ROCK, or goal, for the quarter.
In November, the interns discussed the book and their ROCKs with Mike Lessiter and Kim Schmidt. The interns were enthusiastic with feedback at the meeting. Each came prepared to share their personal ROCKs that are sure to not only help them grow in their future careers, but the company as well.
This exercise is one LM will continue going forward with each new class of interns; it’s a valuable way for our interns to learn about LM’s way of doing things and eventually apply their take- aways to their own careers.
