Tips to ‘Return to Normal’ with Live Events

It wasn't that long ago — about 3 years ago to be exact — but many of us in the event business were forced to respond to the pandemic by postponing live events or ditching the idea altogether and switching over to a virtual format.

It wasn't ideal and definitely presented some unique challenges. And while virtual events continue to fill a need, the one thing that was abundantly clear is that nothing could replace the in-person event experience.

We knew there would be a light at the end of the tunnel, it was just a matter of when we'd see it. Given the response to our most recent winter events, it seems that the 'return to normal' is in full swing. Here are some highlights from the events we hosted in January...

  • 2023 Precision Farming Dealer Summit welcomed a record crowd of 201 attendees to St. Louis, Mo.
  • 31st Annual National No-Tillage Conference provided over $69,000 in new no-till ideas to over 800 attendees
  • 20th Annual International Hoof-Care Summit raised over $31,000 during first-ever live auction for 3 charities

Given the appetite for getting back out on the road and attending live, in-person events, I thought it was a good idea to revisit a couple of previous Marketing Minutes and re-share some tips for promoting events and maximizing your event sponsorship investment — see below.

Are planning for an upcoming event and need some additional guidance on how to make the most of your time and investment? Shoot me a note! Our team of experienced event managers and promoters would be happy to share some additional tips to make your event a success!
