What’s your New Year’s Resolution?

It’s a popular question this time of year. There’s something about opening a new calendar makes us feel like we’re getting a fresh start. And despite the numerous articles to be found on resolution failure rates, we set our hopeful goals or utter our wishful declarations of change.

For businesses, that new calendar brings with it a new 1st Quarter. We look back on the performance and profits of the previous four quarters and set our sights on where we’d like the company to go in the coming year.

To reach our goals or make meaningful changes — both personally and professionally — it’s important to have a solid structure in place to hold ourselves accountable. Here at Lessiter Media, we set long-term and immediate goals, which we call “rocks,” and break both down into 90-day increments. This method of goal setting and working towards those goals has shaped how our teams work and how we think strategically about the work we’re doing.

If you’re looking to increase your chance at success this year, whether you’re working on a personal goal or a business goal, check out the infographic below to learn more about rocks and living in a 90-day world.

What are your goals this year? Is there a different method of working towards those goals that you’ve used to find success? I’d love to hear how you’re planning to take on 2019.
