Humans are visual learners by nature. In fact, the human brain processes images 60,000 times faster than text, and 90% of information transmitted to the brain is visual (Thermopylae Sciences + Technology). Statistically speaking, we are impatient when it comes to reading text and also have lower retention with information we hear vs. information we see.
As a marketer, seeing this type of engagement begs the question of what type of visual marketing tactic would render a high ROI. While a lot is dependent on the type of message and information you are disseminating, a strong case can be made for the infographic.
Infographics take your information and boil it down to easy-to-digest visualizations, which in turn leave a longer lasting impact with your target audience. Pair that with targeted remarketing and re-engagement tactics, and you are well on your way to converting prospects into contacts and, ultimately, buyers.
