Who remembers the Schoolhouse Rock song, “I’m Just a Bill?”
“I’m just a bill.
Yes, I’m only a bill.

Ok, that’s not exactly the type of bill I’m talking about in this week’s Marketing Minute edition. And I’m here to make the case that a bill (or invoice) doesn’t have to be “just a bill.”
A billing statement is a direct communication with your client or customer and can be a very effective marketing and promotional tool for your business.
According to Towne Mailer, invoices are a great opportunity to build up an existing relationship with your customer, improve your brand and to market your business. Yet, they are one of the most overlooked places for communicating offers and incentives to your customers.
