Webinars, an online tool primarily used for creating leads and educating attendees, are the new go-to tool in your marketing arsenal. However, are your webinars getting the attendance you’re aiming for? Or are they falling short and becoming less engaging for those who do attend? To drive your webinar attendance there are a few challenges you need to consider. Time, competition, and deliverability.

  1. Time: Between company meetings, strict deadlines, and picking up the kids from school, attendees only have so much free time within their schedule. A good rule of thumb is to schedule your webinar 1-2 hours before or after the lunch hour, so between 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This timing gives the biggest opportunity for an open slot within the attendee’s schedule.

  2. Competition: I am constantly receiving emails of different webinars to attend that would all be great fits for me! However, how many webinars within a week do I actually have time to attend? As a result, I am only going to sign up for the webinar that I find most interesting AND fits my schedule. Promote your webinars with a compelling message that leaves prospects wanting the answers.

  3. Deliverability: Let's face it, no one likes empty promises. Your webinar's success relies on delivering the enriching experience you've promised. Abandon the notion of a dull sales pitch; instead, curate a knowledge-rich landscape that leaves attendees in awe. The key is authenticity—don't just tell, show.

These are just a few of the things to keep in mind when setting the bar high for your webinars. Check out my infographic below to get more ideas on how to create a more compelling webinar and drive attendance!
