Job Overview & Responsibilities
Multimedia content creator needed for award-winning publisher Lessiter Media (Brookfield, Wis.). You’ll play a key role in planning, creating and securing subscribers’ “must-have” content in all forms (print, video, webinars, podcasts and in-person national conferences we host) as you cover the diverse needs of our business audiences.
Candidates should bring a proven service journalism background (which matches our formula of “need-to-know” information that can be immediately put into action), possess an aptitude to simplify technical and business information for niche audiences, and find energy and meaning in sharing how the most progressive operations are achieving success. Qualified candidates will have 1-3 years of experience in professional publishing.
In addition to stellar interviewing, writing and editing, you’ll need to be organized, deadline-oriented, and clearly communicate to help our in-house graphics, video and audio experts bring your actionable content to life.
Periodic travel is required.
