Sales Development Representative

Summary

Media Account Executive serving titles across Lessiter Media: Rural Lifestyle DealerFarm Equipment, Farm Innovations, No-Till Farmer/Conservation Tillage Guide, and Precision Farming Dealer, American Farriers Journal and their online offerings.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Cold call prospects with the goal to qualify them, and if a fit, then set meetings for our Account Executives.
  • Through phone, fax and email correspondence renew and upgrade existing Call Ad Directory and Marketplace advertisers
  • Cultivate new business via phone, fax, email correspondence
  • Ensure all scheduled ads are entered properly and in a timely manner
  • Facilitate the creation and approval of mock ads

  • Additional duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required, both oral and written
  • No fear of getting on the phone
  • College degree or equivalent experience in sales, publishing or related field
  • Knowledge of the outdoor power and ag equipment industries is a plus
  • Fast learner, strong attention to detail, independent and self-directed
  • Strong ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Must work well in team atmosphere
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
